Federal government switches to key witness in former Iconix CEO fraud trial

By Pete Brush (October 6, 2021, 4:30 p.m. EDT) – A featured witness in Manhattan US attorney’s case accusing former Iconix Brand Group CEO Neil Cole of $ 11 million accounting fraud singled out Cole on Wednesday morning, moments after Cole’s lawyers claimed at the start of the trial that the witness was a liar.

Former Iconix executive Seth Horowitz immediately took a stand after the opening statements as Cole’s trial before U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos on charges including fraud and obstruction of justice, quickly started.
